It's been a while, hasn't it? Here are a few - some good. Some not. But I like them anyways. :)

Drew soup!

So cute when he concentrates...

Is it just me, or does he look a lot like Edward G. Robinson here?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows release!

early in the day

a couple of the original costumes at the Border's Grand Hallow's Ball

It's fiiiiiinallllyyyyy heeeeeeeeerrrrreeeeeeee! And Kym and I have it have just gotten it.

That was our stock pot, our dish towels, and an old wrinkly sheet draped over the back of one of our living room chairs. ;)

They're students from the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, which is a foreign school that figured into the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie that came out in 2004.

That is really cute (Drew Soup!)

I love the Beauxbaton costumes. One of the things I forgot to write about was the sheer amount of really original, hand-made costumes I saw. There was a trio of kids, each in a costume their mother made - the eldest boy was Harry in the maze scene, the middle girl a spitting image of Fleur in her Beauxbaton costume and the youngest as Hedwig!! I wish I would have snapped some photos of them...

Yeah - the costumes were great, weren't they? I loved all the little kids - there was one in front of me in line that had robes on and had made his own glasses by bending thick, black wire into the right shape. So cute for such a little fellow!

Thanks! We think we'll keep him. :)

hee. I can see the EGR similarity, and that's before even mentally picturing a cigar in his mouth!

omg, those Veela (no, wait Beauxbatons, I guess -- or are all Beauxbatons students veelas, too?) costumes are so cool!

If I had Mad Photoshop Skillz I'd totally insert a cigar. Hee.

Not all are veelas. Fleur was only 1/4 veela - because her grandmuzzer was one. The funny thing is that when I went up and asked if I could take a picture they got into that pose in about 4 nanoseconds. They must have been doing that all night for people!

That first Drew Soup shot with his little tootsies sticking out? Yeah, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.

That's certainly convenient considering the photos you took of Aidan when he was a newborn are the cutest things *I* have ever seen. Works out well, yes?

Thanks. :)

That boy is exploitably beautiful. As in GAP baby beautiful. As in let's make some moola from those eyes!

And you, my dear, are exactly how I pictured you! Very pretty and very intelligent -- I know where that baby gets his looks!

I'm ticked that I couldn't get to a HP party as we were in transit. Portland had this great Mugglefest complete with red train, Aurors chasing Dement. around this converted warehouse -- but alas, it was sold out. Grumble.

Anyhoo, kiss that little man -- as they say in NJ, "He's so cute you could eat his face right off." Not a great visual, but you know what I mean!!

Someone actually asked me if I'd thought of putting him into modeling. I live in LA, but I don't live there for that reason. So, no. Of course, if we happen to be sitting next to a casting agent who leans over to chat... well... you never know. Heh.

Many thanks, though I do think I would prefer if his face did remain on his body.

He is absolutely adorable, Lindsay! And I can't believe how big he's getting...I guess that's what happens when they grow up! ;)

Those fat cheeks of Drew's are sooooo munchable! He's cuteness personified.

And I'm glad you posted some Harry Potter hype photos. I was thinking of you with every news report I heard.

I wish I'd taken more photos at the parties. I took a few of the crowds but you really can't see how truly packed it was from the photos, and that's a shame. At Borders there were around 6-700, and at Wal-Mart (where we ended up actually buying the books) there was a good 300 as well.

Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!!

Check out Double Indemnity. An excellent film, and he has a large role. I've seen him in many things (Key Largo, the Ten Commandments, etc.) but that's my favorite of his, I think.

I just wish I had been smart enough to have it in the fast-shutter setting - I accidentally did it in the portrait setting and it will forever be blurry. Ah well, not bad for a self-portrait, I guess.

ADORABLE! What a cute setting, Drew in a bucket. How creative of you! I'm thrilled, thanks for posting them.

And you, my dear, look fantastic! Do you feel as glowing as you look?

I love the first "Drew soup," but I REALLY love

THAT is the one going in his high-school graduation party slideshow! THAT shows the meaning and context of the world in his first year!
