The last time I was in Austin everyone kept laughing at me for saying "the" in front of freeway numbers. "The 183."

I fell in love with Austin though. The city, the people, the whole thing.

Yep, I live here. Just got back from LA, in fact. :-)

We actually have a lot of CA transplants here, though most are NoCal.

When I am in CA, I always pick up the "The" with the freeways for the time I'm there because people look at me funny if I don't say the 405 or the 10!
