Oct. 1st, 2004 03:15 pmI'm a horrible updater these days. I still haven't even finished my New York recap. Sigh. Since I'm beginning to doubt that I'll ever get that one done, here's the nutshell version of part II: Spent lots of time with family, including a dinner with 13 other family members. Got to see people I haven't seen in what feels like forevah. Spent one day running around the city with screamqueen401 , and had one hell of a time doing it. She's funny as all get out, has a great heart, knows (seemed like) everyone everything and everywhere, and was a great person to spend time with - I only wish it could have been longer (and Jenn - B loved the albums. ;) ). Travelling back was uneventful, except my mother is still slightly batty about the whole Terrorists on Plane thing, and thought the person next to her was going to kill her. You know, the normal stuff.
Recruiting season gets hot and heavy starting on Monday, so I'll be around even less than I have been for the last few weeks. The upside is that I've managed to wrap up almost all of my outstanding "before recruiting season starts" projects. The downside is what didn't wrap up is going to take a while and I don't know when I'm going to get it done. And I'm sick (again). I'm starting to not like this repetitive thing... I think my immune system is tanking since I've been so frazzled at work and putting in so much time for school and since I've stopped excercising so much since my Curves membership expired. If my vitamins didn't taste so much like ass and they didn't make my pee look like I've been exposed to major amounts of radiation I'd take them more often. But I don't, so there you are. Bloody hell.
I slept through the debates last night, but I got someone to copy it for me so I'll watch it tonight. Or not. I hate Bush, so it's sort of a mute point. la la la informed voting la la la!
