All sorts of hecticness at work and school.

Work: Classes begin next Tuesday, which means we've got our new student orientation coming up on Monday. Lots of work, lots of planning, lots of phone calls. But the upside is that we have a very large class coming in, and that looks good for my position as the recruiter.

School: Waiting for E, now, to get here to my office so we can go over our group presentation one more time. Once that's done all I have left to do for the class is present the project tomorrow night, read 1 more chapter in our book tonight and write up a 2-page brief on it by noon tomorrow, and then do my final draft of my "political autobiography," due by Friday of next week.

But tonight Bryan's got a meeting in Los Angeles, so I'm by myself. And you know what that means, right? Fun food and a girly movie! I'm thinking about renting Bend it Like Beckham (yes, I know I'm the last female on earth who hasn't seen it. The fact has not escaped my notice, I assure you!) and getting a to-go order of sushi and veggie tempura. Mmm.

Well, sadly, the plan for the evening had a few kinks in it. As in, that chapter I had to read? It's fabulously interesting... but the tyoe of thing that takes a lot of time to digest. So my evening mainly consisted of reading that, running out to get a to-go order at our favorite mexican place, back home to work on the paper, and then preparing food for our smorgaasbord class dinner tomorrow.

Neither Bend it Like Beckham nor sushi, nor tempura actually happened. Ah, well.

I loved that movie...I think you two will as well. I think you should order Indian food to match the theme of the movie!

No sushi? No tempura? Your sushi/tempura/movie comment has made me crave these items. Must... restrain... self... it is only 10:30 in the morning! Now I have to go wipe the drool off the keyboard. Good luck today at class!

Well, I still had on a couple of movies throughout the course of the evening. That Touch of Mink (Cary Grant, rrrrrrroow) and The American President ("I'm calling the United Brotherhood of It's None of Your Damn Business, Louis, I'll be with you in a second." Hee.). Good times.
